Experience Art

Recognizing our local talent

Pickering is fortunate to have a talented community of painters, illustrators, photographers and masters of other such arts.  It is our honour to exhibit their work at the Pickering Civic Complex each year - just one of the ways we demonstrate our pride and promote such deserving, local artists.

Pickering has a number of festivals, activities and resources that support culture and arts; many are listed below.  Review our City Services & Leisure Guide for a full description of the arts and culture programs we offer.

Take a private studio tour through the Durham West Arts Centre and get a glimpse behind the creative minds of local artists.  Visit the PineRidge Arts Council for local art resources, workshops and events.
