There is so much for students to explore at the Pickering Museum Village. We offer a number of school tours, themes and heritage-to-go programs to get you on your way!

School Trips for Teachers and their Students

Learning about history has never been more fun. Our passionate staff provide an extensive range of hands on activities that accommodate a variety of learning styles for pre-school to high school, and for both on site visits and classroom outreach programs. Visit our Education Guide for grade specific program descriptions, prices and other information you will need to plan your trip to the village.

In-Class Visits

Can't make it to the village? We will come to your classroom, and transport your students back in time. Our outreach programs are designed for groups of 20 students or more and meet cross-curricular connections. All ages and interests, see our Guide for details.

Accessibility

Although the buildings are wheelchair accessible, the village grounds are uneven and do not have sidewalks. Please notify a staff member of your accessibility concerns when booking so that we can make the necessary arrangements to accommodate you.
