Important Notices To Building Permit Applicants and Designers

If you are not a licensed architect or professional engineer you may be required to:

be registered with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing
possess provincial qualifications
provide information about your qualifications and registration on the Permit Application Form and on all design documents

Municipalities are not permitted to issue permits applied for after January 1, 2006, unless affected building designers meet these requirements.
