Pickering Recreation Complex offers Squash in 6 singles and 2 doubles courts. Equipment is available free of charge.

Courts are open 7 days a week, during all operating hours.

Squash Rates

Pay-As-You Go rates per 40 minute court booking:
$13.35 per court prime time
$10.89 per court non-prime time

Doubles Squash Courts per 1 hour booking:

$25.74 per court prime time
$20.74 per court non-prime time

Book a clinic or private/group lesson with a professional

Nicole Pirko is our Squash professional. She has competed internationally, representing Canada at tournaments all over the world. Nicole is a certified level 3 coach, and has a Kinesiology degree from McMaster University; which she achieved while continuing to compete at the national and international level.

Nicole offers clinics, each with four 60-minute sessions, and private/group lessons year round.

Clinics include the following:

• Adult Squash Clinics for Beginners
  For those wanting to learn the basic strokes such as the forehand, backhand, serve, and drop shot. All equipment provided.
• Adult Squash Clinics for Intermediates
  For adults who have previously participated in the game of doubles squash and are looking to learn strategies, techniques, accuracy and shot selection.
• Intro to Doubles Squash Clinics
  For adults who are new to the game of doubles squash and are looking to learn strategies, techniques, accuracy and shot selection.
• Junior Squash
  Players will learn the basic necessities of squash - proper techniques, footwork, rules, scoring, strategy, squash etiquette and a long list of shots to develop and improve upon. Equipment will be provided for any student without, but proper non-marking shoes are mandatory.

Lessons include the following:  

• Adult Singles
  $40 - 40 minute private lesson
  $140 - Package of 4 lessons
• Adult Doubles
  $60 - 60 minutes (groups of 3 players - $20 each)
• Juniors
  $30 - 40 minute private lesson
  $100 - Package of 4 lessons
• Semi-Private Lessons (2 people)
  $45 - 40 minute semi-private lesson ($22.50 each player)
  $160 - Package of 4 lessons
