Volunteer Opportunities
Whether you're looking to put a special talent to use, or just wanting to get involved in the community - we have opportunities for you!
History lovers can explore the many volunteer opportunities we have at the Pickering Museum Village, or if animals are more your interest, check out how you can help our Animal Services team at our adoption facility.
Other City volunteer opportunities include:
- Youth Snow Removal Program (Criminal Reference Check not required for this volunteer program) - Teens aged 13-19 years can shovel driveways and walkways this winter for seniors in our community or for residents in need
- City Special Events
- Pre-School and Youth (Teen) Programs
- Leisure Buddies (Integration/Special Needs)
Please note: All volunteers will be required to provide a Criminal Reference Check as part of the application process.
If you want to develop leadership skills; meet new friends, or just have some extra time, we're looking for YOU! Complete the volunteer application form, along with 2 letters of reference, and return to the Recreation Complex:
