Notice of Complete Application SP-2015-3

Applications for approval of a Draft Plan of Subdivision (City File: SP-2015-03) and to amend Zoning By-law 3037 (City File: A 05/15) were submitted by Ontario Infrastructure and Land Corporation on behalf of the Province of Ontario that are proposing to amend the zoning by-law to permit the implementation of the  application of a draft plan of subdivision consisting of blocks for: industrial activities; residential; schools; community node mixed use activities; open space; parkland; stormwater facilities; and new municipal roads, all as indicated in the below chart (see attached Applicant's Submitted Plan). In accordance with the requirements of the Planning Act, the purpose of this notice is to confirm that this is a complete application.

5 Community Node blocks containing 801 apartment dwelling units
24 blocks for 529 detached and semi detached dwelling units
12 blocks for 467 townhouse dwelling units
3 blocks for 198 stacked townhouses dwelling units
1 Gateway block containing 241 apartment dwelling units
1 Mixed Corridor Block for 161 apartment dwelling units
9 blocks for stormwater management facilities
3 school blocks
6 blocks for parks/village green/trail head
1 block for a recreation complex
14 block for Natural Heritage System

The subject lands (see Location Map) are Part Lots 17- 19, Concession 4 and Part Lots 17 - 21, Concession 5

A Public Information Meeting for these applications will be held at a later date, and a further notice of that meeting will be provided pursuant to the statutory requirements of the Planning Act.

Information and material submitted in support of these applications will be available for viewing in the City Development Department, Pickering Civic Complex, One The Esplanade, Pickering, ON L 1V 6K7, between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm during the regular business week.
