Pickering, ON, April 7, 2020 – Pickering Fire Services has issued a total ban on open air burning, in part to ensure firefighters are available to respond to larger emergencies during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The City does not allow open air burning, except for farming and agricultural purposes. Residents with Open Air Burning Acknowledgements have been asked not to burn until further notice.
