Pickering Rebels March on Toronto

Posted on Friday September 06, 2019

“A Spirit Walk” is a unique outdoor theatre experience that you will remember long after you have left Pickering Museum Village.

Pickering's rebels are on the march for the 24th consecutive year! Pickering Museum Village’s Backwoods Players are proud to present their award-winning production of "A Spirit Walk: Call to Rebellion”. Based on a true story, this dramatic production chronicles the lives of several Pickering pioneer families involved in the ill-fated Rebellion of 1837. Their brave actions helped transform Upper Canada into the country we know today. Audiences are led through the village by candlelight by our narrator, Hannah.

“A Spirit Walk: Call to Rebellion!”, is Durham’s longest running play, and takes place at the Pickering Museum Village on September 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th and 21st, 2019.
