Notice of Service Impacts: Canada Post Strike
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) strike has impacted the delivery and receipt of mailed documents, payments, and notices.
Taxpayers enrolled in the City’s pre-authorized tax payment (PTP) program are encouraged to contact the tax department if they need information regarding the 2025 withdrawal amount.
During this disruption, property owners are still responsible to ensure the City receives property tax payments by the instalment due dates noted on the tax bills.
Explore alternative ways to pay a tax bill to avoid late payment charges:
- Drop-box at Pickering City Hall – No Cash in the drop-box please
- Electronic bill payment at your bank
- Pay in-person at the tax counter (debit or cheque)
The City also offers an eBilling option and Pre-authorized Tax Payment Plan, please visit pickering.ca/propertytax for more information.
If you have any questions about your property taxes, please email propertytaxes@pickering.ca or call 905.420.4614.
