Pickering, ON, October 25, 2021

As of Monday, October 25, the Province of Ontario has lifted capacity limits where proof of vaccination is required including in sports, recreational fitness facilities (such as gyms), physical fitness training and meeting and event spaces. Commencing Tuesday, October 26 members & guests will no longer be required to reserve their Health Club or Group Fitness visits at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex (CHDRC).  To give our members sufficient notice, as of November 1, pre-registration for swimming will also not be required. Court reservations will continue to be required.

Proof of vaccination & screening will continue in City of Pickering Community Centers, Dunbarton Pool and Arenas. All guests are required to enter and check-in with staff at the main entrance of each facility.

CHDRC is open weekdays from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, and weekends from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please note, the facility will be closed on November 8 to install a new water main.  The full swim & fitness class schedule can be found at pickering.ca/recreation.

Thank you again for your patience as we prepare to reopen to full capacity. Stay safe!
