City of Pickering Unofficial Municipal Election Results

Pickering, ON, October 24, 2022 – Pickering’s Municipal Election voting period concluded on October 24th, 2022 at 8 pm, and unofficial results are available online at pickering.ca/results.

Official results are expected to be released no later than Wednesday, October 26, 2022 after the City Clerk validates and certifies the details. The new term of Council begins on November 15, 2022.

City Councillor Ward 1 – Lisa Robinson 1,634 votes (21.87%)

City Councilor Ward 2 – Mara Nagy 1,722 votes (34.81%)

City Councillor Ward 3 – Shaheen Butt 3,777 votes (47.91%)

Regional Councillor Ward 1 – Maurice Brenner 3,773 votes (50.74%)

Regional Councillor Ward 2 – Linda Cook 1,996 votes (40.73%)

Regional Councillor Ward 3 – David Pickles 4,298 votes (55.50%)

Summary of voting periods and methods

  • Internet Voting (October 17th at 10 am to October 24th, 2022 at 8 pm)
  • Paper Ballot Voting (October 24th, 2022 only, from 10 am to 8 pm)

Electors were able to vote anywhere, on any device, and at any time, during the entire Voting Period, with internet voting. Voter Assistance Centers were also available to assist electors with the internet voting process and internet voting credentials.
