Heritage Pickering Advisory Committee Vacancy

The City of Pickering encourages citizens to participate in their community by volunteering for one of our boards, committees or taskforces. The Heritage Pickering Advisory Committee is currently accepting applications from citizen volunteers.

Heritage Pickering Advisory Committee

Role: The Heritage Pickering Advisory Committee was established by City Council, under the authority of the Ontario Heritage Act, for the purpose of identifying sites and structures appropriate for conservation and advising Council on heritage conservation issues.

Number of Vacancies: One (1)

Qualifications: Knowledge and skill in the following areas is considered an asset:

  • heritage related research
  • architecture and design
  • restoration, conservation, and construction
  • history and genealogy
  • planning and geography

Meetings: Fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
