The City of Toronto has advised that Stott's Bridge, located on Twyn Rivers Drive over Rouge River ( Bridge ID803  -  Twyn Rivers/Rouge River ), is closed to all motorized and vehicular traffic due to safety concerns identified during recent inspections. The bridge will remain open for cyclists and pedestrians. The closure began on July 5th, 2024 at 11 am.
City of Toronto Engineering staff will conduct further assessments and provide updates on next steps and timelines.

The City of Pickering has completed the Pine Creek Erosion Assessment Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study (Class EA) to identify and prioritize erosion related risks within the study area, and to develop a list of high priority sites in need of rehabilitation.
