The Province of Ontario has made changes to the  Planning Act  to increase housing within existing neighbourhoods.  Up to two additional dwelling units (ADUs) will now be permitted on most residential properties.

City of Pickering Roads
The 2023 Weight Restriction Season for City of Pickering roads begins March 1st and is set to end on April 30th. The actual end date will be determined following reviews of road and weather conditions toward the end of the Weight Restriction Season.
Signs will be erected on all City roads where these weight restrictions apply.
