Revised Proposal (May 2022)

The application has been revised and no longer includes a future severance of the lot. The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to expand the list of permitted uses on the site to include a detached dwelling. A detached dwelling currently exists on the property and is proposed to remain.

Original Proposal (September 2021)

The applicant is proposing to rezone the subject lands to facilitate a future severance of the property to create a total of two residential lots fronting onto Brock Road. The existing dwelling is proposed to remain on the north lot, and a new detached dwelling is proposed to be constructed on the south lot. Planning Act Requirements

This application has been deemed complete in accordance with the Planning Act.

If a person or public body does not make an oral submission at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Pickering before the City of Pickering gives approval or refusal of the Zoning By-law Amendment, the person or public body:

i)   is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council to the Ontario Land Tribunal; and,

ii)  may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

If you wish to be notified of the decisions you must make a written request to the City Clerk. All submissions shall include the full name and address of the presenter.
