Previous Proposal

The applicant submitted applications for an Official Plan Amendment, Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment to facilitate a residential condominium development consisting of 64 townhouse dwellings and 160 back-to-back townhouse dwellings. The Official Plan Amendment is to permit the development of the subject lands at a minimum net residential density of 70 units per net hectare; whereas a density between 80 and 180 units per net hectare is required. The plan of subdivision application proposes to create three blocks: one block for residential, one block for open space/park, and one block for a road widening along Pickering Parkway.

Revisions to Proposal

The applicant has revised the proposal to facilitate a residential condominium development consisting of 61 townhouse dwellings and 160 back-to-back townhouse dwellings. The applicant has eliminated three townhouse dwellings to redesign the open space/park, improving the visibility and accessibility of the proposed park from Pickering Parkway and from the proposed development.

i)   is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council to the Ontario Municipal Board; and,

ii)  may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
