Initial Proposal

The applicant has proposed to rezone the subject lands to permit a residential common element condominium development consisting of 83 townhouse units and two semi-detached units.

Revised Proposal 

The proposal has been revised by the applicant to propose a total of 48 units, consisting of 30 rear lane townhouse dwellings and 18 traditional townhouse dwellings. Approximately 0.49 hectares of the subject lands, composed of the natural area and associated buffers are also intended to be conveyed to the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority for preservation purposes. Planning Act Requirements

These applications have been deemed complete in accordance with the Planning Act.

If a person or public body does not make an oral submission at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Pickering before the City of Pickering gives approval or refusal of the Draft Plan of Subdivision, Draft Plan of Condominium or the Zoning By-law Amendment, the person or public body:

i)   is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council to the Ontario Municipal Board; and,

ii)  may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
