The applicant previously proposed to rezone the subject lands to permit a residential condominium development consisting of 178 stacked townhouse dwellings accessed by a new private road. 

Revisions to Proposal

The applicant is now proposing 57 stacked back-to-back townhouse units and a 7-storey building containing 148 apartment units. Resident parking will be provided within an underground parking facility, with access to the site being proposed from William Jackson Drive. Environmental lands and associated buffers owned by the applicant are to be zoned appropriately and conveyed to the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority.

This application has been deemed complete in accordance with the Planning Act.

If a person or public body does not make an oral submission at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Pickering before the City of Pickering gives approval or refusal of the Zoning By-law Amendment, the person or public body:

i)   is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council to the Local Planning Appeals Tribunal; and,

ii)  may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeals Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

If you wish to be notified of the decisions you must make a written request to the City Clerk.  All submissions shall include the full name and address of the presenter.
