Notice of the Committee's decision is mailed to the property owner and other interested parties who requested a copy of the decision.
The decision may be subject to the completion of certain conditions, which will be outlined in the decision. It is up to the applicant to complete these conditions and notify the City Development Department.
Anyone may appeal the decision of the Committee to the Ontario Municipal Board. If no appeal is lodged within 20 days, the decision of the Committee is final and binding. If the minor variance was needed in order to obtain a building permit, zoning clearance could be granted and returned to the City Development Department for further processing.
