The City of Pickering has installed four digital signs across the city to help keep you better informed about City programs, services, news, and events.

The digital signs will be placed at the following locations:

  • Pickering Civic Complex
  • Pickering Recreation Complex
  • Western Gateway (Kingston Road and Altona Road)
  • Centennial Park (Brock Road)

We strive to strengthen our communications and technology infrastructure to create a more connected, engaged, vibrant, and sustainable community. With the availability of these sleek and modernized digital signs, we can provide accurate, timely and clear information about the news and announcements that impact you.

The program is a collaboration with Canadian National Railway (CN) and RCC Media Inc. (RCC Media), and the signs were constructed and installed at no cost to the City. Please refer to Report CAO 02-18 for background information.

The signs broadcast City-based information about upcoming public meetings or workshops; City-hosted and Council-endorsed festivals and events, emergency communications, and information about City-wide strategic initiatives, programs and reports.

The digital signs located at the CN Bridge Overpass (Kingston Road, west of Dixie) and Liverpool Road (North of Bayly Street) are owned and operated by RCC Media. To learn more about available opportunities at these locations, please contact sales@rccmedia.com or 416.650.6000.
