The Public Affairs & Corporate Communications Division provides strategic counsel to the Office of the CAO and senior management, as well as collaborates with various departments to inform and connect with Pickering residents and other key stakeholder groups on municipal matters and civic services.

The team continues to implement new tools and corporate communications best practices to keep pace with evolving customer needs and technology.

Through citizen-focused strategy and tactical communications support, the team builds awareness for learning and engagement opportunities so that residents, businesses and other interested parties can participate in their local government and inform the key decisions that impact their everyday lives.
