The City Development Department has received a revised application for a Zoning By-law Amendment by R. Taghipour. The applicant is proposing a semi-detached dwelling consisting of two 2-storey dwelling units, approximately 332 square metres in floor area. Each unit will have a single car garage and share a mutual driveway 7.2 metres wide.

Original Proposal

The applicant is proposing to construct a three-storey mixed-use building consisting of 100 square metres of commercial space on the ground floor and two dwelling units above.

This application has been deemed complete in accordance with the Planning Act.

If a person or public body does not make an oral submission at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Pickering before the City of Pickering gives approval or refusal of the Zoning By-law Amendment, the person or public body:

i)   is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal; and,

ii)  may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

If you wish to be notified of the decisions you must make a written request to the City Clerk. All submissions shall include the full name and address of the presenter.
