'Sketch Your Spring' Sketchbook Program

Get to "the Roots of Art" by connecting with nature and 'sketch your spring' with a free sketch journal and drawing videos, launching as part of Artfest. Sketchbooks are available for free, by picking up through the Central Library's Curbside Service.  Visit the Library's website for hours.  Quantities are limited, while supplies last.
Be sure to check out our website and social media often as we launch drawing sketching demonstrations from Artists Sarah Shaw, Mina Daya and more.

*When picking up your sketchbook.  Go to Central Library Branch at One the Esplanade South, remain in your car or wait outside if arriving on foot or by bike, and call 905.831.6265 to notify staff that you are there to pick up a free sketchbook. Staff will bring it out to you.

Mask Magic Kits & Virtual Parade

PineRidge Art Council encourages young artists to inspire and develop their creative side with a free take-home Mask Magic kit.  This kit is designed for children 4 to 10 years old, and will include a wooden mask and markers. Add your own flare, with found objects at home, such as feathers, beads, buttons, stickers or sparkles.

Parents are encouraged to take a picture of their child’s finished creation and tag @pineridgearts or #PickeringMaskMagic to be shared on social media virtual parade.

Pick up through Central Library's Curbside Service. Visit the Library's website for hours.  One per child, maximum 3 per family. This activity is brought to you by PineRidge Arts Council and Enbridge Pipelines. *When picking up your mask kit.  Go to Central Library Branch at One the Esplanade, remain in your car or wait outside if arriving on foot or by bike, and call 905.831.6265 to notify staff that you are there to pick up a free mask kit.
