Mentorship Program: Collaborate & Connect through City Events
The City of Pickering is pleased to offer a mentorship program for organizations interested in developing their event planning skills. Share your message and create a lasting impression on the residents of Pickering.
Successful applicants will partner with a business or community organization and the City event planning team, to plan and execute an activity during a City-operated event.
Who Can Apply?
Community Organizations and Not-for-Profits serving Pickering, in partnership with one another, or a Local Business.
What is Required?
- Activities presented must be free of charge
- Applicants must fund their idea
- Partners must attend at minimum 3 planning meetings
- Partners must meet planning timelines
- 6 applicants will be accepted for 2023 based upon the feasibility/community benefit of their proposal

- Basic equipment to support your activity
- Event Promotions
- Mentorship and Guidance throughout the process
