Update - February 22, 2022:

All outdoor ice rinks are now closed for the season.

Enjoy Pickering’s natural ice rinks!

Please note that the weather must remain below -4º (24ºF) for several days before attempting to flood, and the entire rink must be completely frozen in order to ensure the safety of the public and be open for use.

Health and safety: While there is no capacity limit, please remember to follow public health guidelines to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep each other safe. Please stay two metres apart from people outside of your household, and wear a mask when physical distancing is difficult.

City staff will aim to clear the snow from the rinks after each weather event but please note that road and sidewalk winter control operations will take priority. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
