2017 Senior of the Year Award

Now Accepting Nominations
The City of Pickering is excited to be able to honour one local senior each year for outstanding accomplishments. To be eligible for the award, the nominee must be a Pickering resident over 65 years of age, and have enriched the social, cultural, or civic life of the community.  
Tell us about your nominee, and their accomplishments, in a one page submission.   Please include contact information for both the nominator, and the nominee.

Adults 50+ are  invited to come for social fun and activities. The club operates Monday to Friday, with monthly meeting on the first Thursday of the month at 1 pm. Membership is required (nominal yearly fee).

The South Pickering Seniors' Club invites Adults 55+ to participate in various social activities. Club operates Monday to Saturday with weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 12:45 pm.  Membership is required (nominal yearly fee).   

Activities include darts, shuffleboard, bingo, chess, card games and more!
