Senior of the Year Award & Nominations

The City of Pickering is excited to be able to honour one local senior for their outstanding accomplishments.
To be eligible for the award, the nominee must be a Pickering resident over 65 years of age, and have enriched the social, cultural, or civic life of the community.

Do you know a person deserving of this award? 
Tell us about your nominee, and their accomplishments, in a one page submission. Include contact information for both the nominator, and the nominee.
We will be accepting nominations for the 2020 award until Thursday, February 13, no later than 4:00 pm

Adults 50+ are invited for social fun and activities. The club operates Monday to Friday, with monthly meeting on the first Thursday of the month at 1 pm. Membership is required (nominal yearly fee).

The South Pickering Seniors' Club invites Adults 55+ to participate in various social activities. Club operates Monday to Saturday with weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 12:45 pm. Membership is required (nominal yearly fee).

Activities include darts, shuffleboard, carpet bowling, dance, fitness, tai chi, bingo, chess, card games and more!
