Summer Camps

Registration is open and ongoing. We are gearing up for a summer that's expected to be more fun than ever before! This year's camps feature new closer to home locations, new camp themes, new weekly trips & events!

| Adventure Camp (5 - 12 yrs) |

Altona Forest PS | Pine Ridge SS | Dr Nelson Tomlinson CC | West Shore CC This is an action-packed week filled with all kinds of adventures! Campers will have the opportunity to engage in various activities and channel their inner adventurer. They will explore and discover the world around them through various fun games, activities, and even sports led by our enthusiastic camp staff. Adventure camp activities include, but are not limited to, nature themed arts and crafts, team building challenges, outdoor exploration adventures, learning survival skills, archery, and so much more! We can’t wait to adventure with you! |

CHD Recreation Complex | East Shore CC We can’t wait for this fun-filled week of all things arts! Campers will have the opportunity to engage in various different art forms and channel their inner artist. They will also have the chance to stay active through various fun games and activities led by our enthusiastic camp staff. Arts camp activities include workshops led by talented artists, painting, drawing, sculpting, crafting, playing games, enjoying the outdoors, and so much more! We can’t wait to create with you! |
| Dance & Drama Camp (5 - 12 yrs) |

George Ashe LCC | Pine Ridge SS It’s showtime! Campers will have the opportunity to engage in various dance and drama activities, and channel their inner dancer and performer. They will have the chance to stay active through various fun games and activities led by our enthusiastic camp staff. Dance/Drama camp activities include dance and drama themed activities and workshops, a variety of games, time outdoors, arts and crafts, and so much more! This amazing week will conclude with a final performance for friends and family to come and watch. We can’t wait to dance & act with you! |

CHD Recreation Complex | Valley Farm PS All sports, all the time! Campers will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of sports and channel their inner athlete. Campers will stay active through fun games, activities, and sports led by our enthusiastic camp staff. Sports camp activities will consist of different sports activities, various games and outdoor activities, water fun, and much more! We can’t wait to play with you! Please note: CHD Recreation Complex participates in swimming activities. |

Available at each camp location for your convenience, offering a wide variety of fun and exciting activities before and after regular camp hours: Morning: 7:00 am to 9:00 am Additional fees apply and can be selected during the checkout process when registering for a camp. |

Winter Break Camps & Programs
Winter camps will be viewable in September. Registration for 2024 Winter Break Camps opens in November.

Campers will spend the day exploring clay, learning hand building, and painting a masterpiece to take home. Camp takes place at CHD Rec Complex - Pottery Studio |
About Our Staff
All Camp Staff are certified in Standard First Aid & CPR-C, completed courses in the “High Five” Principles of Healthy Child Development, and have satisfactory vulnerable sector screening (Police Check).
