Please be advised of an active water leak from a fire hydrant located in the rec complex parking lot.
The leak has not effected the facility operations but has taken approx. 40 parking spots off line. 
The Region of Durham have been notified and have responded to the site in an effort to make the necessary repairs.  
However, it has since been determined that a larger repair to the water main is required.

The City of Pickering will be formally introducing the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex on August 26 th .  This $1.125 million, 15-year agreement represents the first naming rights deal in Pickering’s history, and will help usher in a new era for this landmark building.

Pre-Teen Dances will be starting up again in September at the Pickering Recreation Complex.
Dances are for students in Grades 5 to 8 only and are held once a month, on Fridays from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Participants will enjoy Top 40 music from a live DJ, and a snack bar that sells water, pop, chocolate bars and chips at a cost of $1.00-$2.00 each.
