Purpose: Roof Top HVAC Installation and Roof Replacement

Duration: Monday, July 14 to Monday, August 4, 2025

Heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) units are being replaced at East Shore Community 
Centre with the use of cranes. During this time, four sections of the roof are being replaced. There will 
be air conditioning impacts as follows:

• From July 14 to July 18, temporary air conditioning will be provided in the Millenium Room.
• From July 21 to August 4, air conditioning will not be available in the Gymnasium, Senior’s Hall 
and Billiard Room.

There will be closures to the parking lot for craning and construction storage as follows:

• The blue area will be blocked off on July 14 from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm for craning of the HVAC 
unit.
• The blue area will be blocked off from July 21 to August 4 for construction storage and craning 
of the HVAC units. 
• Accessible parking will not be affected for the duration of the project.
