Notice of Temporary Road Closure - Esplanade South

Purpose: Emancipation Day Celebration

Duration: Wednesday, July 30, 2025 – 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm

The City of Pickering will be hosting the Emancipation Day Celebration on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

For this event, please note the City of Pickering will be temporarily closing The Esplanade South from Valley Farm Road to the Pickering Civic Complex Parking Lot on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 – 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

In addition, on-street parking will not be available on the Esplanade South from Valley Farm Road to the Pickering Civic Complex Parking Lot on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
