Kubota Canada Ltd.

The City of Pickering is pleased to welcome Kubota's Canadian headquarters as the first manufacturing facility here in Pickering's Innovation Corridor. Kubota, a Japanese construction equipment manufacturer, will soon be opening their 565,000 sf facility bringing over 200 jobs to the City. The company has been a strong catalyst for investment to the Innovation Corridor and expects to occupy the building in 2022.

PCC Aerostructures Pickering, formerly known as Noranco Manufacturing Ltd. prior to 2015, operates in a 80,000 sq. ft. facility with over 185 employees. Originally founded in 1975, their main focus is on two main capabilities – long bed aluminum machining, and sheet metal fabrication with complex assembly.

Aspect Retail Logistics

Founded in 2010, Aspect Retail Logistics is a third party logistics provider privately owned by Canadian supply chain management company Metro Supply Chain Group. Based in Pickering, they operate out of their almost 1 million sf facility, where they service over 1200 stores across Eastern Canada to their sole customer, Loblaws. Combined with their sister company, Logistics in Motion (LIM), located in Ajax, they employ over 1600 employees, making them one of the largest employers in Durham.
