PRESTO Card 

Please note, Durham Region Transit (DRT) has temporarily discontinued paper passes and tickets (with the exception of the Access Pass for Ontario Disability Support Program clients) and suspended the use of paper transfers for those paying by cash or ticket.

Customers are now required to use a PRESTO Card, which is a reloadable smartcard, that allows you to pay your fare with a simple tap. 

Customers can load their PRESTO card, including cash payments, at any GO Station, Shoppers Drug Mart, or one of the following DRT Point of Sale locations;

  • DRT’s Customer Service Centre at 110 Westney Rd. S., Ajax Monday to Friday: 7 am to 7 pm, and Saturday and Sunday: 11:30 am to 4 pm
  • Pickering Town Centre Guest Services 1355 Kingston Rd, Pickering

Accessing Pickering's Waterfront by Transit

The east side of Frenchman’s Bay is served by Route 101 Bay Ridges (External link) on weekdays during morning and afternoon peak periods with connections to the Pickering GO Station and Pickering Parkway Terminal.  When the Rt 101 is not operating, DRT On Demand (External link) service is available with connections between stops within the zone, Pickering Parkway Terminal and Pickering GO Station. 

The west side of Frenchman’s Bay is served by Route 120 Whites (External link) on weekdays from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.  Service runs every 30 minutes and stops at Oklahoma Dr. and West Shore Blvd. When the Rt 120 is not operating, overnight On Demand (External link) service is available with connections to the Blue Night Network at Glenanna Rd. and Hwy 2, and between stops within Pickering.
