Do you have gardening experience? Pickering Museum Village is seeking skilled volunteers to join our Bloomers & Britches group.

Volunteering begins late April or early May, weather dependent.

Shifts are 2-3 hours, with the option to stay longer, any weekday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Duties include: planting, watering and weeding the gardens, maintaining beds and pathways.

Opportunities

The City of Pickering hosts a variety of year-round events, such as Artfest, Summer Concerts, Canada Day, Winter Nights City Lights, and Mayor’s Levee.

Volunteers support our events by helping with setup and takedown, running games and activities, or serving as greeters or stage assistants, among other fun tasks.

Looking to meet new people, while making a difference in your community? PAC4Teens gives you the opportunity to do both.

This youth council is a yearly commitment that runs from September to June and is open to ages 14–19.
