You are still welcome to join the class if you are late and space allows, however, if you are more than 10 minutes late it is at the instructor's discretion to decide if it is safe for you to join the class. Reasons for denial to a class if late include but are not limited to; missing entire warm-up segment, format of class and equipment needs, disruption to class participants e.g. during mediation session.
If you are registered for a class at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex, your spot is only reserved until the start of class time. Many of our registered classes are also part of our membership schedule where CHDRC Members can also attend on a first come first served basis.
Should the class be full, the door to the studio will be locked and a sign posted that the class is at capacity. Please speak to Front Desk Staff about issuing a credit for the class that you were not able to attend due to capacity limitations.
Participants are encouraged to arrive at least ten minutes before the start of class to ensure participation.
This does not apply to group fitness classes at Dorsay Community & Heritage Centre, Dr Nelson F Tomlinson Community Centre, East Shore Community Centre, and George Ashe Community Centre & Library.
