Public Fire Hall Tours 

Pickering Fire Services offers station tours for community groups and organizations with up to 15 participants. In addition to providing information about fire safety, station tour visits involve a view of trucks, equipment and gear, station apparatus and the role of the firefighter in the community.

Visits to the fire station are intended to be for educational purposes only. Please note that firefighting staff conducting tours are in service and may be required to leave the station and respond at any time. For this reason, we cannot accommodate tours as part of a birthday party or similar celebration.

Public Education Programs

Our Fire Prevention and Suppression Sections are actively involved in a wide variety of public education activities. From youth and senior's groups to local businesses, community groups and other organizations, staff engage thousands of community members through our various events, presentations and station tours each year.
