National Hunger Action Month – Join the Fight Against Hunger
September is National Hunger Action Month – a time each year to come together and support those in need. Hunger affects people across our region, and your contribution can make a real difference.
A Region-Wide Effort
The Region of Durham and local municipalities work together to raise awareness, collect food, and fund programs to fight hunger in our community.
All donations are leveraged by Feed the Need in Durham and area food banks to support local families in need.
About the PAC4Teens Food Drive
This initiative is organized by the Pickering Activity Council for Teens (PAC4Teens) – the City of Pickering’s volunteer youth group for residents ages 13–19. The group provides input on youth events, programs, and initiatives, and is committed to making a positive impact in the community.
