Krosno Creek Stormwater Management Facility K-16
The Stormwater Management Facility K-16 construction project, located within the Krosno Creek watershed, was identified in the 2009 Frenchman’s Bay Watersheds Stormwater Management Master Plan as an opportunity to improve water quality control. The purpose of the facility is to provide the highest level of stormwater treatment achievable within the limits of the available area.
Public Information Centre (PIC)
The City proposes to provide all interested parties with an opportunity to review the project design information, ask questions, and offer feedback. The PIC will be presented in a drop-in format and an on-line format with material available on the City’s website at pickering.ca.
The drop-in PIC will be held as follows:
Tuesday, April 28, 2026 – 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex O’Brian Room A
1867 Valley Farm Rd, Pickering, ON L1V 6K7
NOTE: The O'Brien Room is located inside the arena entrance.
The PIC will introduce the project, outline the rationale behind it and present the preliminary design. The website will include the information presented at the PIC. The deadline for the submission of on-line questions /or feedback following the PIC will be Monday, May 11, 2026.
