Construction Notice - Overnight overhead utility relocations and drilling at Pickering Parkway

The City of Pickering is sharing the below public notice on behalf of Metrolinx to raise awareness of overnight overhead utility relocations and drilling at Pickering Parkway near Brock Road.

To support investigative work for the GO Expansion program, crews will relocate overhead electrical utilities and transfer them underground. This work will take place within and outside of the rail corridor. To ensure the safety of site workers, work will need to be performed overnight while trains are not in service. Metrolinx will implement mitigations wherever possible to reduce the impact of the activities on residents in the area.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday beginning as early as February 23, 2026, for approximately four weeks.
• Work will occur overnight between the hours of 11:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the areas shown on the map.
