Program Cancellations and Service Disruptions

Installation of interior metal flashing around the existing skylights at the Chestnut Hill Developments 
Recreation Complex (CHDRC) is scheduled to begin Monday, September 28, 2026 to Friday, October 
2, 2026.  

Duration: September 21, 2026 to December 23, 2026 

Please be advised that public swim and swim programs at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex Pool will be cancelled on Saturday, October 17, 2026, and Sunday, October 18,2026, for a swim meet.

Please be advised that the older Family Change Room will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, 
September 8 through Saturday, September 12 to accommodate a rooftop HVAC unit replacement. 

Please be advised that the older Family Change Room will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, September 8 through Saturday, September 12 to accommodate a rooftop HVAC unit replacement. Throughout the closure, the main Universal Change Room will remain open and fully accessible for use. 

The entirety of the Dog Park will be temporarily closed in Dunmoore Park from Friday August 28th, 2026 to Friday, September 18th, 2026 for the installation of new lighting. 

Temporary road closure of the Glenanna Road and The Esplanade North intersection. In addition, The Esplanade North will be closed to approximately 75m east of Glenanna Road. 

Public Swim Cancellation at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex Pool.

Please be advised that construction activities will be taking place at Valleyview Park for the replacement of the existing asphalt pathway. 

Soft closure due to filming activity – closures will only be active on select filming days & on prep/wrap days during inclement weather.
