Notice of Inclement Weather – Snowfall Warning
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning, in effect through this morning and into the afternoon. Snowfall accumulations of 20 to 30 cm are possible, which may result in reduced visibility, hazardous travel conditions, and utility outages.

City of Pickering Programs
All City of Pickering programs are cancelled on Thursday, January 15, 2026. All facilities remain open at this time.

Customer Care Centre
Our Customer Care Centre and after-hours service may experience high call volume during severe weather. We thank you for your patience as staff work to support residents.

Service Announcement - Bayshore Tot Lot

Notice of Temporary Playground Closure - Bayshore Tot Lot

The playground will be temporarily closed at the Bayshore Tot Lot for its reconstruction, including new play equipment and replacing of the existing engineered wood fiber safety surfacing.

Purpose: Playground Reconstruction
Duration: Friday, January 16, 2026 – Friday, May 1, 2026
