Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex  

Purpose: Installation Of Metal Flashing Around The Existing Skylights  
Duration: Monday, September 28 to Friday, October 2, 2026 

Installation of interior metal flashing around the existing skylights at the Chestnut Hill Developments 
Recreation Complex (CHDRC) is scheduled to begin Monday, September 28, 2026, and will finish on 
Friday, October 2, 2026.   

• Phase 1: September 28 and September 29 
• Phase 2: September 30  
• Phase 3: October 1 and October 2 

The health club will be closed to members on October 1, 2026, and will reopen at 7:00 pm on 
October 2, 2026. Areas directly below the work area will also be closed for safety while the skylight 
work is underway.  

As part of the project, a crane operation is scheduled for Monday, September 21 from 6:30 am to 8:00 
am. During this time, the metal flashing material will be delivered on the roof. This will have no impact 
on use of the interior of the building. 
To ensure public safety and facilitate construction activities, the following temporary access 
restrictions will be in effect during the lift:  

• Impacts to Service Delivery – the south parking lot will be closed for patrons and staff and 
  reserved for Construction use only. Patrons are encouraged to use the north parking lot.
