Closure of George Ashe Library & Community Centre Parking Areas, North Entrance and North Driveway

Purpose: Electrical and Site Preparation for EV Charger Installation

Duration: Monday, June 8, 2026 to Friday, June 12, 2026

The parking areas identified in the location map link in purple as well as the north entrance will be blocked off and inaccessible to the public for approximately two days. The east parking area shown nearest to Tim Horton’s will be blocked for the duration of the work, and the north driveway will be blocked for a two-hour period for a crane-assisted delivery.

Please enter the building via the south entrance nearest the Library. The accessible spaces nearest the north entrance will temporarily be relocated adjacent to the accessible spaces near the south entrance. During the crane delivery, facility users must enter and exit the parking lot via the south access point at Kingston Road.
