Notice of Extension Temporary Road and West Sidewalk Closure - Glenanna Road

Extension Temporary Road and West Sidewalk Closure

Temporary road closure of Glenanna Road from the north limit of The Esplanade
South to the south limit of The Esplanade North (see map). In addition, the west
sidewalk of Glenanna Road from Pickering Parkway to The Esplanade South will
remain closed. Both vehicle and pedestrian detours have been provided, and all
applicable signage will be posted.

Purpose: To facilitate the installation of the Region of Durham’s watermain. 

Duration: Tuesday, May 12, 2026 to Friday, June 26, 2026

Emergency services will have access to the horseshoe driveway at City Hall at all
times. Updates to indicate access route will be provided accordingly.
Deliveries and access to City Hall and the Library will be from the pathways on
The Esplanade North and South.
