Temporary Traffic Disruption – Whitevale Road from Golf Club Road to Altona Road and North Road from Whitevale Road to 70 meters north of Churchwin Street.

Purpose: Q2026-25 – Whitevale Master Drainage Plan Implementation Project  

Duration: October 2026 to December 2026

The City of Pickering's contractor, Elirpa Construction & Material Ltd., will be undertaking storm sewer replacement and road reconstruction works (Quotation No. Q2026-25) on Whitevale Road from Whitevale Bridge to Golf Club Road, as well as North Road from Whitevale Road to approximately 70m north of Churchwin Street. The project also includes road resurfacing from Altona Road to Whitevale Bridge. Limits of the construction work are shown on the attached location map.  

During construction, the road will remain open for emergency vehicles, local residents and businesses only. Access restrictions and temporary traffic disruptions can be expected throughout the construction period.

Appropriate traffic control measures and construction signage will be installed and maintained to facilitate the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians.
