Service Announcement - Notice of Temporary Road Closures and Parking Restrictions to Bay Ridges Kinsmen Park and Alex Robertson Park area

The City of Pickering will be hosting Canada Day festivities on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable event, and to ensure full emergency access, the City will be enacting temporary road closures and parking restrictions in the area of Bay Ridges Kinsmen Park and Alex Robertson Park.

Purpose: Canada Day Celebration – Kinsmen Park

Duration: Wednesday, July 1, 2026, 6:00 pm to midnight

Temporary Road Closures:

• Sandy Beach Road, from Bayly Street (Regional Road 22) to Montgomery Park Road.
• Montgomery Park Road, from Sandy Beach Road to Brock Road (Regional Road 1).
• Parkham Crescent, from Sandy Beach Road to Colmar Avenue (accessible to local traffic).
• Lublin Avenue, from Colmar Avenue to Parkham Crescent (accessible to local traffic).

Parking Restrictions:

• Parking will be restricted to one side of the road on all roads south of Krosno Boulevard.
• Parking will be restricted on both sides of Parkham Crescent.
