Alternative Camps 2020

Onsite Camps and virtual Camp-in-a-Box options are available this summer.

Onsite camps follow all Ontario Ministry of Health Guidelines while delivering a fun and safe summer experience for your child.  Onsite camps are offered for ages 6 - 12 yrs, with choices in adventure, arts, dance, drama, sports, and more!

Camp-in-a-Box provides children with the opportunity to participate in the camp experience from home, with an online virtual camp counsellor. All supplies needed will be delivered to your door.  (note: this is not a full day of camp programming).

Already Registered?

Camp Medical Form - please fill out and send with your child if they are attending onsite camps and have any medical concerns / allergies we should be aware of at camp.
Model Release Form -  Occasionally we have a staff photographer visit our camps. Please fill out a and send with your child if you consent to having their picture taken. Pictures may be used on the City's website, social media or in print promotions.

Covid-19 Screening Form is required to be filled out daily for onsite campers.

PA Day Camp 5 - 12 yrs
A great way to spend the day when there's no school. Campers will enjoy various indoor and outdoor activities, including board games, video games, arts and crafts.

Paint & Play PA Day
Campers will spend the day exploring clay, learning hand building, and painting a masterpiece to take home.
Regular Camp hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

After School Drop-In Program 6 - 12 yrs

Safe, Supervised, Fun! Better than a babysitter and a great way to unwind after a hard day at school! Transportation to the program is available if this community centre is in your child's school busing boundary.

This program will be returning for January 2021 

Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
at George Ashe Library & Community Centre
