Proposal
The applicant is proposing to develop a residential subdivision with 76 lots for detached dwellings,
5 blocks for 28 street townhouses, two public roads, a stormwater pond, and open space blocks.
To support this development, the applicant is proposing to amend the City’s Consolidated Zoning
By-law 8149/24, which currently zones the property for agricultural uses. The applicant is
proposing to rezone the site to appropriate residential zone categories to facilitate this
development.
February 18, 2025 - The City has received applications for an Official Plan Amendment (OPA 24-003/P) and a Zoning By-law Amendment (A 05/24), submitted by 705 Kingston Road Ltd. The subject lands are located at the southeast corner of Kingston Road and Whites Road, known as the Whites Road Shopping Centre located at 705 Kingston Road. Under the Planning Act, any person may submit an application for development to be considered by City Council. City Council has not yet considered these applications.
February 7, 2025 - The Planning & Development Committee is holding an Electronic Statutory Public Meeting on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 7:00 pm. The public meeting will provide interested parties the ability to learn more about the proposal and provide comments and feedback before any decisions are made on the application.

Tribute (Brookdale) Limited has submitted Pre-Submission Applications for Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment for the Brookdale Centre to permit a multi-phased, high-density, mixed-use residential development consisting of six buildings containing fourteen residential towers ranging in height from 17 to 35 storeys within four phases. A total of 5,238 residential units are proposed, including 7,149 square metres of retail/commercial space, and a 716 square metres daycare facility.

Proposal
1334281 Ontario Limited has submitted applications for Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment to permit a 12-storey residential condominium building, containing a total of 262 dwelling units. A total of 393 parking spaces are proposed, including 65 spaces located at grade and 328 spaces located within a two-level underground parking garage.
