The Stormwater Management Facility K-16 construction project, located within the Krosno Creek watershed, was identified in the 2009 Frenchman’s Bay Watersheds Stormwater Management Master Plan as an opportunity to improve water quality control. The purpose of the facility is to provide the highest level of stormwater treatment achievable within the limits of the available area. A Public Information Centre will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
An electronic Committee of Adjustment Hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 7:00 pm. Members of the public may participate electronically in the hearing to provide verbal comments to the Committee of Adjustment by registering as a delegation.

The City of Pickering is sharing the below public notice on behalf of Metrolinx to raise awareness of overnight overhead utility relocations and drilling at Pickering Parkway near Brock Road.
To support investigative work for the GO Expansion program, crews will relocate overhead electrical utilities and transfer them underground. To ensure the safety of site workers, work will need to be performed overnight while trains are not in service.
