Purpose:  T2026-6 – Sixth Concession Road Reconstruction and Greenwood Bridge Rehabilitation 

Duration: August 4, 2026 to December 2026 

Roof replacement work at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex (CHDRC) has been extended and is now anticipated to continue through Monday, August 31, 2026.

Sandy Beach Road to be closed from Kinsmen Park Access to Montgomery Park Road. Montgomery Park Road to be closed from Sandy Beach Road to Brock Road.  

Duration: Tuesday, August 4, 2026, to Thursday, December 31, 2026

Temporary Road Closure on Westney Road from 4465 Westney Road to 8th Concession Road.

The entirety of the Dog Park will be temporarily closed in Dunmoore Park for the installation of new lighting.

The new Claremont Memorial Park playground structure has been installed but is not ready for use yet as it does not currently comply with all the CSA safety requirements. We are actively working to resolve the issues; in the meantime, the new swings are open and safe for use.

An electronic Committee of Adjustment Hearing will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 7:00 pm. Members of the public may participate electronically in the hearing to provide verbal comments to the Committee of Adjustment by registering as a delegation.

The Greenwood Community Centre is scheduled for demolition. As part of the demolition and construction activities, electrical services connected to the building will be temporarily disconnected, resulting in an outage of the tennis court lighting. 

Due to inclement weather, the Farmers' Market is cancelled for the remainder of today, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., on July 21, 2026.
